Data Center Certification

Not sure how your data center stacks up to industry averages? Looking for a way to justify infrastructure improvements to upper management? Obtaining a data center audit and preparing for a TIA-942 and/or BICSI 002-2010 certification is a great way to establish the optimum infrastructure to support your organization’s strategic objectives. Reliable Resources’ senior staff can walk you through the process of determining the optimum reliability level.

As members of the TIA technical committee that drafted the TIA-942 standard, and authors of the BICSI 002-2010 standard, Reliable Resources is in a unique position to undersand the connection between infrastructure configuration and reliable uptime performance of your enterprise. There are three basic steps to the process.

  1. Conduct an enterprise workshop to identify the connections between operational characteristics, organizational objectives and downtime impacts. Understanding these connections will result in a clear articulation of the performance characteristics and tier level that are necessary to achieve success.
  2. Conduct an audit of the existing enterprise. This will identify the current reliability level performance characteristics.
  3. If the existing infrastructure does not meet the recommended reliability level, a customized plan will be prepared outlining the steps required to achieve the targeted reliability level. Once these measures have been completed we will issue the certificate for that facility.
